Native Adlay
Adlai is highly nutritious. It is said to be a remedy for diseases like arthritis and diabetes among others. It has a pleasant mild flavor, similar to rice, but much softer in texture and is more compact.

Cooking Instructions:

Rinse Adlai grain repeatedly until water is clear. Put 1.5 cups water to 1 cup of Adlai, in rice cooker and cook as is.
For porridge, boil 1 cup of Adlai to 2.5 cups water or chicken stock for flavor. Adlai is also great for champorado, cook with tablea and serve with milk and dried fish.
